Sturmtiger Ammunition and Loading
Posted: Sun Nov 18, 2012 10:39 pm
Hi Guys
As there is no Strumtiger tread yet I figured to post this here, this is a copy of a request for information on the ST ammunition and how it was loaded. For those getting a ST it may be useful.
Each round weighs 830 lbs (376 Kg)
Ammo compliment 14 rounds.
12 in side racks, one loaded in chamber and one on loading ramp, the one on the loading ramp had straps to hold it in position when mobile.
The pictures below explain the loading sequence.
