Tiger 1 Side Guard fasteners question

Ok Another Question.
The Square Stand Off's that hold the side guards on, are they just held on with loctite?

Hi Steven,
Yes a strong retainer or strong glue.
I used a strong retainer like that used for slip fit parts.
I was still able to pinch the screws up nicely without breaking the seal.

I used Araldite Rapid and could wind the nuts down tight in an hour

Ok New Question
The front mud guards wont move when the pin are inserted. I tried filing both the inside and outside of the loop but still not enough room to move freely. Any ideas on what im doing wrong

G'day Steve, I had the same problem. I drilled the hinge holes out from 2mm to 2.5mm and used a m2.5 button head & nut.

I used countersunk instead of hex bolt underneath for better clearence. Then it worked fine without drilling.

G'day again. I had trouble with the pins fitting. So I just drilled to save time & frustration.
