I had a good day working on the rear of my tiger yesterday . I machined up some threaded plugs to go into the holes for the caps that go over the track tensioner . This way I can use a 3mm bolt at the top of the cap and then , I can swing the cap to one side . So I can get to the hex bolt quickly I will add a fake bolt to the bottom hole . Dale

Hi Dale, the tigers looking good, but the paining on the spade is a work of art, if the rest of the painting looks as good as this you will have a masterpiece,
regards
Jeff

Hi Dale,
Awesome work!
That Tiger of yours has been and still is a big source of inspiration for me my friend.
Kind regards from your "most further away" fellow hobbyist.

Thanks Jeff . Once the model is finnished . I will add battle damage Eg. shell hits and so on . Then I will remove all the road wheels and weather the lower chassic with humbrol enamels and pigments then I will work my way up . "Stay tuned" .. I'm thinking about posting photos as I go . Unless everyone is sick of me posting photos all the time !! . The shovel was painted with humbrol 'metalcoat' then buffed and weathered with dark earth and red brown , plus I used pigments on the metal part . The handle was paint humbrol 110 . then dry bruhed with dark brown just enough to look like wood grain . I use my garden shovel from my garage as a stage model . My wife would not pose with it ... Dale,
The Tiger is coming on a treat, I particularly like the finish you have on the shovel it looks very realistic. Did you go to Russia for the mud!!
I hope you've only plonked the front hatches on for the photo though, they look the wrong way around to me.
