Hi everyone,
I've looked on the forum and on the Tiger info site but alas can not find any information with measurements for the location of the early cupola, hatch and ventilator on an early tiger. It has taken a long time to make a new aluminum top to fit the cast turret and I would like to get it right. My tiger is like Simon Mannings excellent 312.
I would be grateful of any responce.
Regards Paul

Hi Paul

A book called Modeling the Tiger is a fantastic source for this info.

Hi Lee,
Thanks for the quick response,
I assume its not the modeler's guide to the Tiger Tank but Modelling the tiger (osprey Modelling)?

Paul, David Byrdens website tiger1.info has a lot of dimensions taken from drawings and surveys of existing Tigers.

For example, this page has the location and size of the loaders hatch:

http://tiger1.info/EN/LoadersHatch.html

Be aware though that you may need to tweak the locations to get them to sit right within the Armortek turret shell.

I've drawn up CAD layouts and had some prototypes cut already - the details are in my thread here:
