Futaba Help Please

Just purchased a Futaba T9CHP super 9, having a few problems with, when i power up on the tank the turrent rotation and elevation motors run for a couple of seconds. This is every time I power up. This is causing the turrent to rotate about 6 inches and the elevation up 1 inch. The rotation is on the left stick, (left to right) the elevation is on a C Switch (a 3 way switch).
Has anyone got any ideas how to stop this?
Another thing I have noticed is when I have got my Benedini sound system running, whilst it is on idle if I put throttle on with both sticks the sound starts (engine revs) but when I go back to centre again, the revs stop dead, just left with idle. i don't this this was like this with my old system, as i was sure the engine faded down gradually instead of stopping dead, which is more realistic.
One last thing, channel 3 and channel 6 both work the same. When i operate channel 3, if I have a servo attached to channel 6 this will work as well, when i operate channel 3. I think this is mixed, but can't seem to get it unmixed, been through the instructions several times (but not very good when it specifies helicopter, gliders and planes).
I have -
Channel 1 for sound
Channel 2 track
Channel 3 track
Channel 4 turrent turn
Channel 5 gun recoil/blank firer
Channel 6 spare (but will be figures)
Channel 7 gun elevation
Channel 8 MG movement
Channel 9 lights

Any help on this would be appreciated

Hi Rtchie

I think your problem is that you are in a preset helicopter mode. Radios designed for helicopters have lots of different offsets pre-programmed to make flying easier. Your problem with the 2 servos working together is probably the throttle and collective servos working together.

Look at your manual and see if you have a factory reset or a basic setting for a glider. That will give you your most basic setup.

Best of luck

Hi Mick
Nice to hear from you, hope you are keeping ok and not working too hard. Thanks for that. i am in basic helicopter mode, looked at the instructions several times, I am also learning to fly a helicopter at the moment but is a really complicated thing to get in to, I think, but fun when its in the air. i will have a look again in the instructions and find the glider mode.
Thanks again for your help.

Hi Richie

Glad to hear everything is okay now. What was the problem :?:

All you have to do now is keep the missus away from your tank. Just had a new workshop delivered, and I've got the only key
