A request for Tony Read
Hello Tony
Would it be possible for you to photograph the dashboard instruments head on/close up and also the fuel caps and fuel pipes around the tanks?
Thank you
David

I'd be glad to, will take some shots and measurements this weekend. You're always welcome to come round and have a look in person - Kent is not that far away! A cup of tea and a bacon wad may make it worth your time!!!

Hi David,
don't know if these will help but they are the gauges I did for the WSC from an actual pic and whilst not perfect they look OK. being a White they should be the same on the Halftrack,
cheers

Hi Dave (Dibb),
What did you use for the instrument glass and bezel?
Are you going to be casting the light/brake/fuel switches that are on the dash? From what I remember of driving a WSC these are the same as the halftrack.
Cheers!

Hi Tony,
I used the drum sander and cut out the awful gauges on the WSC. The "new" gauges were printed on a white self adhesive label, cut out and stuck to 1mm plasticard discs, I gave them 3 coats of Humbrol Gloss coat and then glued them into place.
I'm pretty sure your right about the switches etc.but sorry, your going to have to make your own at the moment for all the previously mentioned time restraints
cheers
Dave

Some pics for David Ward:-
This is the top of the fuel tank showing the filler cap in place.
This shows the diameter of the filler cap -135mm.
This shows the height of the filler cap.
The filler cap in 'dangle' mode!
Plan view of the fuel line adjacent to the armour plate behind the driver.
Elevation of the same fuel line - slightly out of focus I'm afraid!
Now a couple for Gill, our first lambs of the season, two days old. The mother is a Dartmoor. All together Ahhhhhhhhh!
David Ward - I'll get back to you on the info you want.
Is it me or are there a lot of David's???????
Cheers all!

Too true! Cranbury sauce is good too, rub it all over, (the lamb not you!) and pop in the oven, delish! Hope Gill is not reading this!
