Does anyone have either of these books and feel able to give a quick review ?
I'm mainly looking for inspiration for colour schemes, as Jean Restayn seems to be credited with quite a few of the colour plates found in other books.
Adrian.

Hi Adrian
I have both these books and the art work is first class.
Also some photos not much text.
I bought these when I was on the list for a Tiger but went for my Panther in the end.
Hope this helps
Derek

Hi Adrian
I have both books. I bought them mainly for the huge number of photographs. There are also colour plates showing unit markings, camo schemes, and maps of areas of operations. There is a relatively short write up of each units battle history. I'm not sure what they retail for at the moment, but I remember they were quite pricey when I bought them years ago.
These are definetly books for builders. The sheer number of photos would be hard to find in any other single book. As all the units sre covered, with several colour plates for differing times during a units history, I think you will find the inspiration you are looking for.
Hope this helps
Mick
