Hi guys, I'm wondering, if you built the kit out of the box, would you be able to build a Korean war or Suez crisis Centurion? Or would the Korean war version or both need a 20 pounder barrel?
Also to make a Korean war version what other mods are needed?
Cheers guys!

I've put some answers on my Cent references thread. Hope they help. I'll find a list of the key features of each mark soon. Stephen

Main differences are:
Early cast turret with repositioned loaders hatch and ammunition resupply hatch in turret rear.
20 pounder type A main armament
No appliqué armour on glacis
Different stowage bins on hull catwalks.
There are plenty of references available. The 1/35th scale aftermarket is full of sets of parts for the AFV Club Cents to turn a MK 5 into a Mark 3 - try armorama or missing-lynx.

Hi Steven thank you for the reply! I really appreciate it, I'm mulling a Centurion over, but I don't want to build a late model, just one that either served in Korea or Suez so your information is helping loads!
Cheers,
Alex
