I am a new member from Quebec Canada
Trying to build a tiger 1 late production according to instruction for road wheel assembly we need the 2.5X30mm fastener.
they are to short can<t get the bolt in, is it me or the kit

Welcome. They do go but only just. I machined some material off the back of the hubs to get some more threads for the Nuts

Welcome.

Steve Norris did a nice modification to his wheels that simplifies the removal of them.

Here's my interpretation of the mod. It requires some drilling out and paying close attention to what goes where but when done, the hubs can be removed with only three fasteners and then the inner wheel/axle fastener and washer can be removed.

Sounds more complicated then it is.

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase 12 gage blank in Canada

Im no ammunition expert but if you cant find them you could probably just cut off the ends, empty out all the buck shot and then cut / fold the ends in.

where you able to fit the blank firer safely to the tiger 1 late prod?

Here is a video on how i was planning to make my 12 Gage blanks. I don't have the blank firing unit yet so if anyone els has one let me know if you think this will work.

It will work, but you may NOT put the plastic cap in the cartridges,
because it can not leeve the barrel by shooting the blank!

The drum is almost the same like a revolver drum BUT the holes from the
Armortek drum are on the outside of the drum, the holes where you put
the cartridges in donth go straight by the drum, the holes comes half in the drum.
I will show you some pictures of the blankfire so you can see wath i mean

Thanks for the pics, just looking at your fired shells. Are those factory blanks?. I was wondering if you could load a picture of an unfired blank. Also do you know how much gun powder they are filled with? mine are only filled a quarter inch past the metal casing. looking at the yellow shell you have there. If it's filled to the crinkle point, there is a bit more powder in those. Im just wondering how to cap the end and keep the powder tight. Would shortening the shell just a quarter inch past the metal casing effect the firing/function.

Hi Steven,

The black powder blanks i have are from Armortek ( the orange color ) 6 in one tube
the other ones , the green en red color are just primer only for testing the blank fire
if you use black powder cartridges you have to put vasaline on the crimp side of the
cartridges because blackpowder is very explosif and it can ignite all 6 rounds.
i will post later a picture of a blank from Armortek,
i donth know how mutch powder is in the cartridge.

Thanks for the pics. yes those definitely look like they have more powder in them. Are you sure they are filled with Black Powder and not Gunpowder? If it is Black Powder i can see now how dirty the unit must get. i wonder if a lesser amount of gunpowder would be better. Gunpowder burns allot cleaner and would be far less likely to set off the other rounds.
