here's some photos of progress, i purchased this can of cellelouse paint 2 litres from the auto paint people i use, a cancelled order from another customer and a good price, not a bad colour for the tanks interior, the etch primer from u-pol is a good buy aswell it covers and is easy to handle and a third of the price of acid 8, if you buy packs of 12 ther'e even cheaper, after all you only want something to stick to the bare metal, build the texture up with normal grey primer afterwards and a much cheaper way around, all for now regards simon.

not much to report so far, inspection covers for the bottom of the hull in there basic turned state, more work to finish them of and fit, made a start on the muzzle brake, and derek attree sent me some grill fillers to make the inner contours, i did the last ones on my panther with chemical metal, a lot of work!, thanks for posting tim, regards simon.

the gloomy dark evenings are here, so the best place to be is in the workshop, the muzzle brake is nearly completed, once again i've hollowed out the interior with the dremmel and made some lock rings on the lathe, the barrel rifeling i did with a hacksaw, onwards to the next part, regards simon.

Simon,
Your muzzle break is outstanding. Hard to believe it started out as the kit MB- wow! How many hours with "Mr Dremmel" does it take to grind out?
Best regards,
Bob

thanks robert and lee for the input, the muzzle dos'nt take that long, the tool in the dremmel is about as good as you can get for size and the right dimension and when new they are very sharp, i made a little sanding disc that i can fit inside the muzzle with sticky interchangeable pads,40 grit, 80 grit and so on. just another way of improving the kit part if you wish with not a lot of expense. thanks simon.

the jagdpanther build slowly continues, reworked the kit parts as close as i could to photos to hand, all the underneath hull inspection hatches fitted plus drain plugs, not shown in these photos, i aim to make and alter as much as possible before assembly. thanks for having a look. regards simon.

Thanks for posting Martin, just a selection of pictures of the build. Thanks to Steve Norris for the idea of access through the motor mount. Which I drilled and the access covers for the torsion bars, tried out some colour on the fan cover.

Thanks for looking, Simon
