Found another robot parts supplier in the UK selling the Pololu Maestro 6 for £12.48 + vat.

It's worth taking a look at the other products these people sell as a lot of it is adaptable for tank use, such as some of the excellent servo brackets and electronic kits and boards. I picked up an embedded Mp3 player for £20 that allows sound files to be played from a micro SD card.

Whenever you find the time to fiddle with the MP3 player, let me know. Still convinced I can make the dolls talk, just need to get the right materials...

Good to see that I'm not the only lunatic when it comes to how far we can push animatronics. I was thinking of a silicone skinned head with a solenoid operated jaw, then by using a sound sensor I could trigger the mouth via the controller card and various Mp3 files.

I will have a play hopefully this week on James Tselikis figures (as James hasn't been in a mad rush I have took the opportunity to try some new ideas, one idea is a tilting weighted base so they figures lean on inclines, more details soon).
