If you are considering a source for new components, I chose the 'P/N TT11, Anti Aircraft Machine Gun Mount & Ring for Cupola' from Mike Stannard.

Check with Mike Stannard...he builds a lost wax cast bronze MG mount which is more rigid than white metal.
