Cheers Phil,

Motion Pack not available yet so keeping it to a 'liftable' weight for now and doing some detailing while I wait.

Hi John
Yes I am trying to do the same and make the most of this decent weather and
do as much on the patio in the sun.
At least I can roll it back to the garage on the wheels :) and its a much nicer
way to try and keep fit than the gym or jogging.
Cheers
Phil

Hi John
Looking very nice :D
I like your front detail, your drivers hatch detail is really good, great
stuff
How is your drivers hatch held open,is it friction or magnet :?:
Surely you havent installed hydraulics like Dave Bane was describing
to us :)
Cheers
Phil

Phil,

The hatch is held up by a mechanical spring loaded hatch. I also made new hub covers for the sprocket to match the later -85 style.

John,

Really looks good. All you guys seem to be doing the 85's and no one has yet posted a 76, that I purchased.

Anyway, was wondering if you could show or describe how you made the spring loaded latch/catch for the driver's hatch. All of us may not be as talented as you

Best regards,

Bill

Bill,

I guess there are many options, this is mine from the inside.

Now trying to decide which of the innumerable mudguard design/shapes to use - looked at 3 at Bovingdon at the weekend and they're all different as are the pictures from the Littlefield museum!!!
