Hi Phil,
I think you're the first to post on the T-34 build. Must be nice to work outside, but agree the glass should be full to fully enjoy the moment? Will follow your build with interest, looks like a nice kit.
Best regards,
Bob

Hi John and Bob
No I will have to watch I dont pick up that Meths instead of my Magniers Cider tin.
Yes it looks a great Kit and the Gear box went together without any think other than cleaning
perfect, trying to make the most of the sun while we still have it.
Cheers
Phil

Hello Phil,

Good photo's. Please keep them up. I have opted for the '76 to go with my yet to build Panther, a-la Kursk.

I guess we in the US get our gets much later than you in the UK.

Best Regards,

Bill

I'm planning on building the Panther first yes, but really not certain. My head is spinning over all the pricey after-market stuff for the Panther. As far as the T-34 goes, hatch detail is about all I think I will be looking for provided I don't have to sacrifice another virgin!

Hi Bill
Yes there is loads of excellent stuff the Guy's are producing.

I buy some parts especially if it required casting, but I like to
have a go at making as much as I can,for the challenge, out
of any material or bits of scrap that come to hand.
Also have made a few bits out of MilliPut

Its great fun
Cheers
Phil

Hello Phil, I will be following your build with interest.....that patio table takes some weight, not including the cider. All being well we are off to Onslow Park Steam Rally, Shrewsbury, this Sunday/Monday, with the 'Comet'
I will post some photographs.....hopefully.
Best wishes, enjoy the good weather.....Mick

Hi Mick
Nice to hear from you.
Yes I have to be caredull of the glass so I overlap the frame edges, but it will soon be
going onto a building table.
But its nice to do the assembly in the sun out on the patio where possible.
Have a great day at your show, look forward to seeing your photo's on the Forum.
Cheers
Phil

Thanks John
I did a bit more when I got home from work and the rain stopped.

Hi Brown
Here are the pic's of the MG parts in the kit that you wanted to see,you might have to
make the cast part yourself
Image
Image
The MG barrel looks short enough for me to drill out myself,so I will be doing the MG flash and
some movement.
I will probably add some casting texture to my MG housing same as I plan to have a go at the cast
Turret.
Cheers
Phil

The Upper Hull parts primed and ready

Panier Floors fitted
The screw under the Glacis plate is hard to get at.
Image
If you are like me and throw the labels away when I prime the bits and forget which is Left and Right
hand.
The front lug is slightly smaller than the others on each side.
