Aberdeen Proving Grounds - June 2010 (Long post)

A few of us north-east USA Armortek owners met at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland during June 19-20 of 2010. These are a sample of the pictures taken. I know, it took too long to post them.
I never seem to have much time anymore and my Tiger is still a work in progress.
APG/Maryland is in the process of moving south to Fort Lee, Virginia. I've heard the museum building is now closed with tanks being moved on a regular basis. We do plan to meet again in September of 2011 before too much is gone.

Mike Kasputis unloads his Tiger 1 while a couple of spectators look on.

Mike Gormley makes an adjustment with his Sherman. My Tiger is to the left.

Mike Kasputis's Tiger makes its way onto the field.

Our tanks behind the museum building.

Mike Gormley drives his Sherman through the grass.

These tanks always get attention.

My Tiger approaches two Russian T-34's. Yup, that's Mike Stannard's unpainted brass stowage bin

Passing the Pz IV prototype

Driving between the two Panthers. I'm sure going to missing doing this when they have moved!

Fun with a more modern US mine clearing tank, a Grizzly M1.

Another shot of Mike Kasputis superb Tiger 1.

Mike and I with our Tiger's.

Mike Gormley and his Sherman.

Mike's Sherman in a little bit of trouble.

Shifting now to Mike Kasputis's backyard, we make tracks. Mike G maneuvers his Sherman up the hill behind Mike K's house.

My Tiger with a real 88mm round.

Mike sizes the 88 round along side his Sherman

Compressing the Sherman suspension while Mike makes an adjustment.
