A question to those of you who use Mike Stannard's 'Zimmerit Tools'.
Which tool set is the right one for our Panthers?
Is it the Zimmerit Tool Set 2 (18 teeth to 2â€

Hi Darryl
Since noone else has posted, I'll take a stab at it. When I did my Panther and researched photos, the patterns appeared to be smaller(more teeth in the tool) then Tigers and Panzer IVs etc. Based on this observation, I used the #3 tools from Mike and was pleased with the results. For my Panzer IV and Tiger I, I used the #2 set.
That being said, I would recommend buying two sets and having them to test some patterns for yourself prior to application to your tank. That way, you'll be sure you are satisfied with the final result.
Just my two cents.
