Mine arrived this morning! It is a well thought out book and is an interesting read, written with sensitivity about the subject.
I am pleased I ordered it!

Haynes manuals usually cover tune-up, repairs and overhaul techniques "based on a complete teardown and rebuild". I have difficulty picturing any of those for a Tiger.

What does it cover?
Thanks,
/Chris

The Manual is part of a series that includes The Spitfire, Concorde, The Titanic.
The Book has some 'workshop information' but really focuses on 131 at Bovington to provide the source and various people associated with the museum have contributed chapters. It perhaps has little new, but what it is, is a good historical and practical overview of the Tiger and it brings together alot of interesting information in a succinct manner. What is clear is that it is an appreciation of a weapon of war and those who were involved with it from both sides, and it is dealt with sensitivity. For this alone it worth having in my collection of Tiger books.
It is for a variety of reasons, some I have hinted at, an excellent present for friends who may not understand the interest that we have in these pieces of machinery, as it will explain that is not about surface appearances, but is alot deeper!
I hope this is of help.

Hello Chaps
Not impressed really. If its your first book you have read on the Tiger then its Ok but for me there are better books out there.

I liked the book. Some great interior photos. Worth adding to collection. Postman left mine under the door mat. Thought it was lost in post. Found it after a month.
