On the Rear engine hatch wasn't the Round hatch the most common. Is there chance you can do both. Might be easyier on the machine to do the round one. Just my thought.

I agree with Lee, that the round hatch was common for the T-34/85, and the square rectangle hatch for the T-34/76 according to all the reference books on variations I've seen so far!

The T34/85 tanks will have a round rear access hatch and dual front periscopes for ther driver in a different drivers hatch. There will be a number of other updates and changes from the prototypes, to the production models.
