Completely off topics , but i feel the need. Is it me, or has the world gone mad.
I hope and pray that the people of Japan and surrounding nations have the strength and courage to recover from the devastation that surrounds them.
But for the grace of god.
Apology for the post, but i feel there are so many fellow human beings in such awful termoil. And that does not take any of my thoughts from the other devastating natural disasters around the world. But ,man, this one is baaaaad.
Lets pray we never have to endure such events.

I cannot recall more apocalyptic scenes in my lifetime but we did not get much footage from the last enormous Chinese earthquake.
It will be years before the repairs are complete and lifetimes before personal loss is eased.
My sympathy to any members from Japan and their friends and relatives.

Prayers may comfort their souls, but donations of money may more tangibly comfort the survivors and might save lives too.
I am concerned that opportunists will pop up here and there soliciting funds, when only a small portion ends up getting to where it is needed - if at all. So my shop put up an appeal page on-line with direct links to the American Red Cross, Japanese Red Cross, and International Red Cross. These organizations are among those that permit one to donate directly to relief efforts of various disasters, including that in Japan.
