Nice to see you back at on another Tiger! These additions are excellent and a good idea for any builder, not just Tigers. Great to see you back,
Kind regards,

Hi Dale,
Thats also a good idea to secure the turret roof,
i used magnets to secure the roof.
I see that you are using a spring on the back of the turret wrap,
gives that no problem to pul back the turret lug if you put the
stowage bin on? I wil post you a picture of the turret roof.
regards Yves

Thanks Yves and Brian . I did this on my early tiger it works well , there's enough room when the turret bin is on to pull back the spring on the quick release ...Dale

In this last photo I ended up with about a 1.2mm gap all the way around the turret roof this was the best i could get it to fit !! how did the other mid tiger owners go with their gap??
...Filled with a false weld, as in the real on the rest.
Great and very nice work Dale, as always.

Very nice looking and nifty idea!
My gap was much smaller - ranging from zero to 1 mm. The instructions call for attaching the mounting sockets to the roof first and then pulling tight from the sides. Done this way, the turret wall is in fact pulled tight around the roof.
Cheers,
/Chris

Hi Dale,
Just a quick question, I have yet to start on my 5 year old mid tiger turret I ask would in your'e valued opinion, think whether it may be wise to upgrade from the cast turret to the formed one? Following the build with great interest!

Good to here from you Paul ... I found the cast turret was fine . Just hat to belt sand the outside square and move the vison ports . \The good thing about the cast turret was that it had a machined shelf for the roof to sit in . I would cut out a new alloy roof for it !! as the kit one rusts to much and the loaders hatch needed moving forward .. Paul after five years have you pick a start date ? Dale
