VAT–Armortek to give customers an extra month at lower rat

This posting only applies to customers in the EU and UK.
VAT is set to be increased in the UK on 1st January 2011 from 17 1/2% to 20%.
This is the tax that we have to pay to the government on your behalf, it has to be applied to all sales in the UK and European Union.
We have decided however to give Armortek customers an additional month at the old rate of 17 1/2%.
We will not put up our prices until 1st February 2011. We will still be paying the tax at 20% from January, however for this month the difference will be paid by Armortek.
In summary, all payments made to us between now and 31st January 2011 we be as our existing prices, as shown in our shop. From 1st February these will be increased to reflect the increase of VAT to 20%.
