I'm new to the forum, and have started to build a Mid Tiger 1, Armortek number 2010 039. I started the suspension and intend to make a jig set at 35 degrees to file the flat on the torsion bars.
The jig shown under the topic "Setting the suspension shaft technique late tiger", as designed by Allan Richards, appears to show the suspension arm down 35 degrees from horizontal.
The jig shown under the topic "Ken's Tiger" shows the suspension arm up 35 degrees from vertical (or 55 degrees down from horizontal).
Which one is correct? I was going to make one drooping from horizontal, but thought I'd better verify it first with you experts.
By the way, this is my first Armortek kit and am thoroughly enjoying the build. I live in Southern California and would enjoy talking with anyone nearby.

Look at the post Demis's Tiger is showed an amazing machine to make the angles. By assuming 0° degree from the horizontal you have to set 35° down

I live in LA and although not making a Tiger, I am just finishing a Panzer III, about to start the A34 Comet, also have a King Tiger waiting to be built and next year will be receiving a the new Panther. Happy to chat any time.
