Hi just thought I would introduce myself, my name is Mark and I live in Manchester UK and have just managed to secure a Comet as someone wanted to swop for a Panther, So quite lucky really.

This is a first time Armortek model for me, I went for the King Tiger and unfortunately a house move got in the way. At least now have I got settled and have my workshop up and running (the dining table was never an option). Tanks are a new field for me so I have a steep learning curve especially in the research as well as the building. Looks like there is lots of help and advice available on this forum and I can’t wait for my comet.

Welcome Mark.

> the dining table was never an option

Funny that, it never seems to be

My first memories of model building are putting together an Airfix model with my uncle and aunt, on their dining room table. It had a faux-leather protection sheet on it at the time, which was good because I distinctly remember getting glue everywhere

Hi Mark, welcome to this great forum. Any questions, simple or complex, will be answered by someone. There are so many talented builders and engineers here. Enjoy yourself and the build.

Pictures of your build are essential
