After 3 years of owning the panther i am at last making a start on it.
This is how it came to me, the suspension has been fittted and what a beautiful job the lst owner had done. i will have to take it apart to prime both the hull and the running gear. i hope this build generates some feedback, regards simon manning

Hi Simon

and another one of your masterpieces begins! Can't wait to see what you do with this one. Will it be an Ardennes KG Peiper Panther to go with your Tiger II??

Kindest regards
Tim

hi tim, if it turns out half as good as yours i will be pleased, one of the forum members sent me some e-mail pictures of a panther built by robert doeep,i think thats the right spelling,of his panther build, stunning is the only word to use,i fancy doing that look,or a leopard camo design from the eastern front i've seen in a book, thanks david for posting, the panther is a cracking kit and you will like it when it arrives, the panther seems small after the kingtiger espceically when lifting is required, many thanks simon.

Deja Vu dismantling the Panther for some primer coverage on all of the joints and all the bolts replaced, with a little bit of grease, Primed and painted all the wheels. The fit of the kit is very nice and goes together well, not much else to add at the moment.

Regards

Simon

Simon,
your garage looks like an Armortek warehouse. I count 6 tanks including the panther. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the Panther. Your King Tiger is absolutely stunning, among the best builds I've seen. Keep up posted. Kind regards,
Bob

Panther progress, all the hull is in primer and moved onto a new table. I have fitted the front mud guards, as I found they would be very difficult to install after the gear drive housings and sprockets are attached.
