We have always considered investment in the business to be crucial to it's on going viability and success. Our initial purchase of our dedicated factory unit was in our view critical to give stability to the business and this has been followed up with investment in our equipment, most important the CNC machining and turning centres which are vital to the cost effective and accurate production of the parts that make up the kits. Most of our machines have been purchased new in the last 4 years and we are pleased to announce that we are now making a significant upgrade by replacing our oldest turning machine the Haas TL15 with a brand new Doosan Puma 2500 SY . The machine will allow us to make a quantum leap improvement in quality and automation on a wide range of turned and milled components.

We are hoping to take delivery of the machine before the Open Day/s and if this is achieved we will have the machine runing demonstration programmes at the event.

This video is a demo that was done by a company that specialises it writing programs and sorting out tooling for companies that do not have the experience to do it for themselves. It demonstrates all the different capabilities of the machine. Our machine should be here in about ten days.

The coolant is off so that you can see what is happening. Normally it would be on all the time. They turn it on for the "parting off" operation because the tool would break without it.
