Are people just epoxying the rear part of the gun barrel into the gun base?

Thanks

Hi David,
In the builds I have done I have drilled and tapped a hole for a 4mm grub screw to retain the barrel in the tube.
Cheers Paul

Thanks Paul.

It was actually the the tube being retained in the gun mount on the turret that I was referring to.

hello david
on my pz111 the large tube that fitted into the gun mount thats on a
pivot. i tapped through the pivotting mount and into the large tube to secure
them both together ,the actual gun barrel i just wraped masking tape around
it so it is a snug fit.At sometime i am hoping to get it to recoil and fire a blank, so didnt want to fix the main barel in perminantly.I think this is what paul has done.If you drill it on the underside of the pivot then you wont know its there.
