I've had my Tiger (42) for a few months. I have not moddled in metal before and need some preliminary advice.
• what do I use to wash the metal with prior to priming
• what combinations of Loctite do I need.
I'm sure there will be more questions!!

Hi Chris,

I use after a sand the parts thinner to clean.
than you can use primer.

Loctitte 2701 strong
Loctitte 648 for cillinders and and bearings
Loctitte 480 for the rubber tires fis on the wheels
And for low strenght i use tamiya thats a blue collor
its the same as blue loctitte

Hi Chris.
Yves is spot on with the loctite but for a simple clean up prior to paint I always use "Halfords surface cleaner" Dead handy in an aerosol. Any smaller parts like the wheel axles etc can be droped into a tub of Cellulose thinners a good type of tub to use is the old "Tupperware" type they are fine.
