Can any one recommend some good Pictorial and factual books on the
history of the Tiger 1 Battalions, to include good painting schemes.
Is the book Tigers in Combat v 1 & v 2 by Wolfgang Schneider any good.

The Schnieder books have a couple of pages of approximately 1/72nd scale colour schemes for the Tigers.

I've recently bought the Combat History book for schwere Panzer-Abteilung 508, which has two pages of colour plates in the back, with fewer but larger pictures of the Tiger.

The rest of the photos throughout both books are in black and white, but do give an idea of stowage etc.

Both go into great detail of the movements and actions of the Tiger.
