Mid Tiger 2010 -number 50

Post by Mark Jones »

Just thought I would say hello to rest of the forum.
I'm the proud owner of the Mid Tiger 2010 number 50 and I didn't even know I was getting it. So imagine my surprise when I walked in the front door on my 50th birthday to find 5 large boxes gift wrapped on the floor.
A surprise present from my wife and daughter that they had been colluding with Gill with, so that it all arrived on the day.

Had seen some Armortek tanks at a show in London some years ago and my wife had kept the detials.

So I've counted the pieces, cleared out some space in the shed and ready to go. Took a drive down to Tankfest last week at Bovington to meet Mark and Gill and see a whole range of tanks from the Southwest tank club in action. Also to see the real Tiger and take a few photos. Got some tips and hints - getting a hydraulic table seems a good one.
Fantastic, can't wait to get started
