I hope this trip is as much fun for you as our Ardennes one was.
Margaret and I were lucky enough to be able to tour around Normandy last year for D-Day and it was great to be driving along surrounded by convoys of Jeeps, Beeps, trucks etc.
Adrian.

Here i am...
Its bin quiet around me but i used that time to get connected with meself again and straighten thing out...
Busy in the wekend doing photgraphy and some work in the week.
There a lot happened and to much to write about but i can tell you i'll be over there (England) a few times.
Probably Tankfest (Bovington) and The Battle of Britain (Duxford) and already booked 4 days to visit the Armortek Open Day...
I'm not going to say that the Normandy Beaches have no secrets for me, there's still a lot to see and discover, but i've bin there many times and will do so again.
This year i couldn't go on the 6th June...
But there is still time.
Hope you and your wife enjoy the trip and feel somewhat more connected with your dads past...
Regards
Sven

No problem mate...
This year there is to much to do on my To Do List, i can't do it all.
Crisis in one thing, time is the other...
Normandy the 6th-June was also on my list but the week before i had an accidant, so that was goodby trip and the well earned money...
It was a pitty but i'm still alive so that is the bright sight of it.
But never say never, we will meet again...
Regards
Sven

When we meet i can bring you some fries but i don't think you'll like them
by the time you get them.
Now your trip is sealed you have something to look forward to.
It will be there sooner then you think...
Enjoy the break and get your mind of everything else...

Wifey and I are now packing for this tour
Oustriham is the main focus for Carol as several of her fathers french colleages died here.
In my case its Pegasus bridge and the Ox and Bucks.
Hopefully I will get many photographs for you all to see.

Hi Stewart,
Hope you and Carol have a great time on the trip
Looking at your itinerary, Margaret and I didn't manage to do any of the things listed for day four so I would love to see some shots of them
Hill 112 has just been covered in AFV Modeller so it would be great to see how that looks now
Adrian.

Stuart and Wifey
I just returned from a holiday work trip to Lloret De Mar, back home now and think of going to France, Saumur to visit the Carrousel where the only Tiger II in the world should be driving...
Hope you have a great holiday and the temperatures drop a bit because it is very hot here...
Greetings
Sven
