Armortek

Although I have researched a suitable prototype for my coming Tiger build, I am getting the feeling that it is sad to paint it over. If I do, it could just as well have been fiberglass - no one could tell - and I think the metal finish is so cool per se. Just look at the Armortek prototypes!

What are your thoughts?

I am thinking that a clear coat of lacquer would be appropriate to protect the metal from the elements. Maybe even two part automotive paint.

What a hard decision!

The running proto types do look nice. In regards to knowing it's metal or not? Trust me, YOU WILL KNOW!

One thing to consider if you leave it in be a r metal is corrosion. I would suggest you would need to at least clear coat it.
