Armortek Visit the Tank Museum

Post by Armortek »

In 2008 when we launched the King Tiger we were delighted to have the support of the Tank Museum for this project. In return we pledged £150 for each kit sold. Yesterday we were very pleased to present a cheque for £15,600 to Michael Bolton the fund raising manager of the Museum and want to thank all of you who purchased kits for your significant contribution to the ongoing preservation of this superb and unique collection of Military vehicles.

Additionally they were given a working Armortek model built as a replica of King Tiger 104. Sincere thanks and credit goes to Paul Morris of Paul's Tank Workshop for a superb job assembling, painting and detailing the Armortek kit.

Lots more photos were taken by the Museum's PR company and we will post links to these once we have them.

Again we want to thank everyone who purchased a King Tiger kit and all those involved with this very sucessful project.

Hi Mark and Gill.
Sounds as though you have had a great day out and a fantastic total for the museum, I would just like to say a big thank you for asking me to do the work for you and from my point of view I think its a privelige to have been asked in the first place, and for a tank I have built and painted to be in a museum is just the icing on the cake . . . thank you very much.
Kind regards and best wishes Paul and Vinnie.

Congratulations Mark & Gill for acheiving your goal and collecting over £15k to give to the tank museum  No mean task in these difficult times. A real testament to the quality kits you supply.

Paul,

Well done on a great build and for keeping it a secret. I bet that wasn't easy.

Is this the first Armortek model in a museum :?:

Thanks Antony
