Futaba 7c help needed!

Never having used rc before I have successfully run a test rig for the motion pack for my KT and am now moving on to the sound system. :) I am using the Futaba 7c supplied by Mark and Gill and in the instructions booklet Mark says to refer to the Futaba handbook as to how to set the 3 way switch to channel 6. In my igorance I have not found anything in the handbook that refers to this. :? I am assuming that the three way switch is the one on the top left of the transmitter lettered E but would welcome some very simple step by step advice as to how to set this to control channel 6. Can someone help please?

Hi Martin

If you look at the forum post at http://www.armortek.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2023 Mark explains that is easier to reassign channels 5 or 7 to switch E.

If you look at the 7C manual, page 30, in shows you how to reassign channels.

Hope this helps

Mick

Mick, Many thanks...as always the Forum comes up trumps. :) I will now sit down quietly and work my way through the rc logic and technical jargon that I am slowly grasping guided by your very helpful advice.

False dawn Mick! After much perusing of manuals and the advice on the Forum you directed me to I still cannot get the sound system to work. The set up I have now is:
transmitter on basic plane setting which has always worked immediately with no signing on or anything else. I have even been able to get both tracks to work from one joystick for single stick control with the turret and gun elevation on the other joystick.

For the sound sysytem I have now:
channel 5 assigned to switch E (three way???)
receiver channel 5 connected to the control connection on the sound system box

Yet when I switch on with the switch in central position I get a slight speaker connection buzz but no three bleeps to initiate the start up procedure. I have tried pressing the button on the sound module anyway but nothing happens!

Further help would be much appreciated!
