That's fine Simon, but where's your Strabokrans (Fries-Kran) crane? That is a lot to lift after all.

Pretty cool!
Shouldn't this be registered in PanzerWrecks.com?
Good luck with the project!

Hi Simon
How cool. What a great thread this will be. as far as resurrecting it to running condition, I don't think it could be in better hands.
Thanks for sharing

Hi All,
As Simon will know, this is one of the first Armortek mid tigers, it actual belonged to he who must not be named!

cryptic I know

It is based on Michael Wittman's Tiger at Kursk. same unit as mine different Zug, however, mine has survived a lot better than Dave's! Ups
Steve,
I knew you said it was weathering down nicely, but I didn't think you meant to a rusting hulk
Paul.

Hi Paul
I was hoping he who should not be mentioned was gonna come and pick it up but under duress from the wife who wanted her garden back and simon and after 4 years I had to finally let it go, and as you can see its more distressd than weathered
Yes Richie, In the Grey Box there is a blank firing 9mm revolver, some of the parts are missing from the recall, the box is made of 16 gage steel, and the first time it was fired it blow the box up like a baloon, and I could not believed the power behind a blank could do this

Hi All
I believe there are rumours of an Armortek tank, upside down in a bog near the Wirral waiting to be recovered.........
That would make a good video for a U tube reconstruction!

sounds interesting steve, my first armortek tiger 1 i purchased had been abandoned rusting full of water in a shed, the owner having passed away,so anything is possible. regards simon manning
