Panzer 111L road wheel tyres

Hi All
Can anyone help with the best glue to retain the tyres to the road wheels.
I did the usual,sand the road wheel and cleaned the inside of the tyre with methylated spirit.
At first I used the ordinary loctite precision super glue,but several came loose.
I then used Loctite 401 instant adhesive which I was told is much stronger,
which I can vouch for.
Its absolutly brilliant at sticking fingers,eyes and other bodily parts,its a good job I washed my hands before and after going to the toilet.
My one finger stuck to a tyre as I pushed it on so I had to leave some skin behind.
It has improved it a lot but I still had two come loose.
Any recomendations.
My tank seems to have been up on the blocks more times than its been up the Kasserine Pass.
