Double posting.

Post by Adrian Harris »

With the recent problems with this forum, I've found that the error it gives when submitting a message usually happens after the it has been posted correctly.

So, rather than using the back button and clicking the Submit button again, it is probably better to open another browser window/tab and checking whether your message has been posted, before trying again.

Hopefully, this should reduce the number of double postings we've been getting recently :D :D

Derek, there's a little X in the top corner of your own postings - this is the delete button.

I believe it will only work as long as no-one has posted to the thread after your message - like I've just done to this one

Adrian
I would have thought in Edit mode you should be able to delete your own postings at any time.
