As you can see I have just finished installing the electronics. The switch panel bottom left is smoke on/off, remote power up, charging socket and main power on/off. I have stuck some reflective alloy to the side of the battery opposite the power led on the power supply so you can see it from the hatch. I have positioned the centre speaker so there is enough clearance all round it for the elevation motor when turret is traversed.
One thing to be aware of when you install the elevation motor and limit swtches (making sure they are the right way round) if after you have installed them and you may decide to reverse the channel on the transmitter, make sure you reverse the connections to the limit swtches as well otherwise the mechanism will jam on full travel (been there).
Hope this may be of some use to new builders.
Dennis.
