Main Motors

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if the main motor's gear boxes are oil-filled?
When I unpacked 1 of them oil was all over the motor.

Hi Dan

The gearboxes are filled with grease. We do often get motors from the manufacturers with oil on the surface, but it does not have any effect on the performance or life of the motor and gearbox.
