Well its mine!

Looking back over past emails I realised that I have been building this Tiger since 2004 I think.

It must have been the last one sold prior to Gill and Mark taking over as it took me 6 months to get all the parts!

No such problem these days, when Gill says something is on the way it turns up quick smart.

Anyway thought it was about time I finished as I have run out of room in my roof for all the other kits I have not even unpacked yet. Half track, 88, 222, KT. At this rate I should have them all done by about 2040! Mmmm I will be 75 then so perhaps I better get a riggle on.

Its very interesting getting into it again, especailly the electrics as mine are all very old compared to the wonderful option packs now. Wires going all over the place.

Hope to have it up and running by Easter

Befehlswagen Tigers

Hello all,

Have posted a few remarks in Pauls Mid Tiger rebuild topic but thought I would here too.

Obviously I am doing a Befehlswagen. Actaul Tank production is based on Dec43/Jan44 production.

There is however no clear indication that I can find about how Befehlswagens were numbered.

Found a quick reference that mentions 84 Tigers being "converted" to Befehlswagens in 44. So I guess these could have ended up anyway! and could have included pre 44 production tanks as well??

Interesting topic (well I think so anyway lol)
