Hi Lee,
Bought the Panther from Derek Attrie, The sound system was not fitted but new. I have done my own thing with the electrics and i only use 24 volts on the tracks. 12 volt for everything else, so i have bought a 12 volt sound system direct from Thomas,
Regards,
John

Hi Guys
Tiger and Panther are different, but poeple have panther sound in their tigers as they sound better

, i had a Panther in mine, and now a KT one, very similer to the tiger 1, but with the rattely start up. i just return mine to Thomas and he reprograms them for around £20. so your not tied just to one sound, and you dont need to buy a new unit

Hi All,
If we were to be pedantic, then a Tiger1 should sound like a Tiger1 not a Panther or a King Tiger. The main reason for it sounding right is if you are going to show it!

Interesting to hear comments , a Tiger should sound like a Tiger, but surely not only if you are going to show it.
A large scale functioning model should sound as good as it looks.

A large scale functioning model should sound the way its owner wants it to sound .

Mine will sound like mini-mouse, or maybe, road runner. Can't decide.

Well said David.and the good thing with Thomas's units (TBS5) you can send them back for a sound swop

just a retune. done it many times. at a small cost.
P.S NOW BACK TO THE MAIN TOPIC!!! JOHNS SOUND UNIT STILL UP FOR GRABS.
