3D drawing and 3D printing services for your desired parts

Post by Hugo Schittich »

Hi to all,

we offer now a 3D-printing service for your drafted parts, so you can get very fast a real accessory part for test fitting and so on.

One example of what you can get is our muzzle brake - the body is dircetly out from a 3D printer.

We need only from you a 3D data file of your desired parts (SolidWorks STEP, IGES, and so on).
If someone has only the measurements of his desired part we too can make the drawings for you.

Here the costs:

3D-Printing

Maximum part size: 20cm (X direction) x 20cm (Y direction) x 35cm (Z direction):
1 ccm printing: 1,48 € in standard resolution 0,2540mm
1 ccm printing: 1,54 € in high resolution 0,1778mm
per print add 12,-- € for preparing the delivered data

Greater parts have to be broken down in two or more smaller parts depending on size.
With this technique for example can be made a whole tank turret.
For breaking down of a part add 54,-- €

Example for our muzzle brake small body:

Material: 31,66 ccm => 31,66 ccm x 1,54 € (high resolution): 48,76 €
+ preparing of your sent data: 12,-- €

Total: 60,76 €

Example for our commanders cupola body:

Material: 173,56 ccm => 173,56 ccm x 1,54 € (high resolution): 267,28 €
+ preparing of your sent data: 12,-- €

Total: 279,28 €

3D-Drawing:

Part of which you have exact measurements:
making of drawings after your exact measurements: 39,-- € per hour

Research and construction of parts of which you have only foto:
research, practicable construction and making of drawings for
your desired part: 54,-- € per hour

All prices without VAT (have to be payed in Europe)[/u]

Hugo,

This is sort of intriguing, but what about those that do not have access to 3D model applications or experience in its use?

I just see this as sort of a limited offering, not sure how much of a response your going to get?

I think its is an awesome service to offer though!
Thanks,

Jim

Hi,

I'm quite happy to do some 2D/3D CAD drawings, as I want to keep my hand in.

Regards,

Sarah

Hugo,

Am interested but need some idea of cost.

Just as a benchmark example, what would you charge for a one-off 3D print of a muzzle brake? It does not really have to be a specific type, but it is an item of known complexity, size and volume to yourself and most of us here. So would be a starting point.

Thanks
Fabrice
