Nice work and you seem to have learned the CAD program well enough to do these drawings. But why the gap at front of the lower side plate?

Can´t wait to see this finished, it will be a completely new model.

Great looking drawing Sven.

I've been making up parts for the Sherman in TurboCAD but I still can't get the hang of knitting them together as you have in this picture.

It's an ideal method of checking the fit of parts and so frustrating that I can't seem to manage it

The 3 stripes you see on the Top plate (by the hole for the turret) are welds because that plate was originally made out of 3 pieces !

Sorry to dissapoint you but the drawings aren't for sale...
The price of time, trips & copies to get all the info already cost me 2000€ (2900$) and still there's a lot i need to find to get the whole picture...

I get the skills by trial and error, specially that last one...
The gap is some measerments that i have to sort out, so that part of the drawing couldn't be build...
Of all the drawings i have this is what i could make of it yet.
Some parts are complete and some still need to be finished, but wanted to see what i made so far...

I can tell you some of the drawings i had to start over completly, with all the frustration that came along.
But i'm glad i got so far, still there's a long road ahead to get the whole picture...
Keep working on it, when you get the hang of it the reward is so good you forget what you went thru, till you stumble on a new problem and it starts all over again...

Nice work!
I can only imagine the amount of research needed for making an accurate 3D model of a KT (or of any tank...)
When finish just put it in a 3D printer

Putting in a 3D printer would be to easy...
If it was in plastic, no problem. In metal is another story...

Next step is to buy the CNC mill i've bin dreaming about since i started the drawings...
First i have to think about a smaller version, more affordable...
