We have just posted some pictures of the Mid Tiger 2010 parts as they progress through the workshop. We will assemble a control from these production parts over the next few weeks and will post photographs of it's progress.

Thanks for the pictures. I was beginning to feel jelouse after seeing those beautiful pictures of the Comet.

I especially like the road wheels and I see that you included the slot for the armor between the side and the rear plates, Thanks!

books (Jentz & Doyle) and modelers guide to the Tiger
- i realise the book is for plastic kits in a smaller scale BUT
has plenty of detail info on varying modifications during production run

I have both of those books - and several others- and I think that if I were to own only one book it would be "The Modeler's Guide to the Tiger Tank". I especially like the side by side comparisons of the different versions. Jentz & Doyle's books are of course beyond reproach and invaluable.

I cannot wait to get my 2010 Tiger!

Could you indicate which parts will be compatible with the original Mid Prod (2002) Tiger 1? We have all grown older and wiser since then, and an upgrade may save a lot of time.

Well that's a simple question with a complicated answer. Many of the parts will be compatible to greater or lesser degree. There is more commonality with the late Tiger than the earlier models. It will be possible to upgrade many features on the earlier Tigers, particularly wheels, bearings, sprocket and drive etc. More details and pictures will follow soon.

We have just posted a new series of photographs showing the hull assembly of the new 2010 mid production Tiger 1.

This hull has been assembled from randomly selected production parts, and the assembly was very straight forward with absolutely no fitting issues. Note the use of alloy for the floor, pannier floors and deck plates. Also note the lowered rear deck section.

We will continue to assemble this model and will have running gear details next week.

Beautiful Looking hull Mark . I bet your happy with it ! Big step forward with the use of the extra alloy on the hull ! No more rust and dissimilar metals .. Mark is the new Deck , panniers and floor 4mm or 3mm plate you must have a very good bending machine to bend the pannier floors with the fillet to such a good right angle ,well done on that front .. This will now set the standard for all tigers from now on .. bring on the early tiger in the fucture as this will be one of your best sellers .....Dale

This may seem a daft question,is there a lot of difference between the weight of the old cast turret and the fabricated one ?
