Hi Volker,

Very nice pictures. This is a craftsman at work. But then again I already knew your reputation.
Can you please disclose how you made the "Tulsa" markings on the side of the winches gearbox ?
Keep up the good work :D
Cheers,

Volker,
Fantastic job on the winch modifications and front bumper. Both yours and Davids Half tracks will be stunning. Thanks you guys for livining up this forum thread!

Great job on the casting letters on the winch housing! I wonder since you have CNC?? if you couldn't have machined the letters into the alum part itself instead of making a negative mold and casting the part in resin? Not criticizing your work at all - the result is awesome! Just wondered if you considered or tried to machine the letters? I've been thinking about machining the letters (in relief) in plates and then bonding it to part.

Thanks and great work!
Bob

Thank you

Tim nice good pictures, have you one i can see the lever for the radiator cover, it is on the right side in the cab.
And i am searching for a picture of this part
Image
but at the front section of the shield.

thx Allan

Bob yes i have cnc and it iss possible to machined it directly on the winch or in an plate.
I really don´t know why i take this way , it was the first time i use resin and need some experiments in it.

I have milled a mould in positive and negative form for the diamon plate,
the positive one runs about 4 hours (hobby CNC machine)

Image
With copperplate that i glow out it works for me , it isnt scale at all...

Hi Volker,

Is this the lever you are looking for ?
Image

I do not understand the second part you are looking for. Can you please indicate the location of it on the M16 ?
Cheers,

Hi Volker

Ad's photo is much better then the one I have of the lever but posting anyways for another view. The front, top shield on the side doesn't appear to have a catch pin like your photo showed. or is that it at the bottome corner of the front shield??

I have some other photos from another trip (not on my computer) I will look through as well.

Again, super nice build, enjoying your work very much.

Hello
Thank you for the pictures , Ad yes that is the one.
Somebody know how it works? Is the button on the top to push down to release it at the mount?

On the second picture from Tim it is that what i mean , there are four holes i
think there could/should be a catch pin.

Volker
