Guys,

Would like to know what you use for camo netting? I am putting together a Pak 38 gun inplacement (DAK-Tunisia) and would like to find some netting to use. Possibly an online source or just an idea to get me started?

Hi Jim,

I use Firebase Ryan camo netting which is the best I've found so far. I've also got some fishing net which I'm going to dye olive green to see what it looks like approx 1" square.

Thanks Antony

Hello Jim / Ant

Try a replacement net for a landing net or indeed a keepnet they are pretty cheap and the mesh is quite fine too.
Cheers Paul.

P.S. Ant that model looks quite tasty

Hi Guys,
In my pre-Armortek days when I was building smaller scale resin and plastic kits, I used medical gauze from bandages as camo netting. I know that you are going to say that they are too small, but large gauzes are available if you know where to look. Also, from my military career,I know that modern nets are made from smaller nets joined together to make larger nets ( to fit the desired vehicle). Not sure if this was the same in those days. Medical gauze can always be used for netting on a helmet if all else fails.
my penny's worth,
Lionel
