Battery size

what size of batteries do you find best fit the halftrack.

I think its the 5ah size batteries in the half track.

Thanks Lee, do you know what running time can be expected from the 5 amp batts ? seems a bit small.

I know that the 7ah ones are too big as you know that there isnt the space for larger ones. it will probably be around 1/2 hr. I think that spare ones might be an option.

The half track lasted another hour last night on the (single 24v) 4.5ah battery
that drive motor is great on batterys

Also i am just useing the 24v for the drive motor only, has the thomas sound unit (tbs5 mini) just works of my 4600mah reciever battery

They sell them on ebay in the states, used for sea scooters!!
they are single 24v 4.5ah battery.
