I had to sell my two Armotek models due to circumstances beyond my control

My sister inlaw, Jackie who lived with my wife and I for three years, was
diagnosed with lung cancer and a large brain tumor last december and she had a heart attack a week last Friday and was admitted to hospital. She lost her life at 0600hrs this morning

The lads I was with at the fantastic open day were made aware of my situation and unfortunately I had to leave early to comfort my wife.

I wish to express my thanks to the lads who are a great bunch!

I do hope, that I am no longer an owner of one of these fabulous models, that I will not be able to post on this great forum any more?

I'm terribly sorry to hear of that sad news. Also sorry to hear you had to sell your models. Thanks for sharing this though, as it feels like we are family at least in some small part. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

My condolences on your family's loss. A close friend of my wife has lost both parents to the big "C" this week. Devastating.

Cancer is everywhere and touches us all, and it will probably get most of us. However we are famously pragmatic and practical types, so perhaps we should look at doing a little fund raising for a cancer charity at events this coming year.

Make a difference and fight back.

It does not matter which charity, so we could have a nomination and a poll if Mark and Gill are OK with this.

Cancer has run through my wifes family genes for generations.

Mother died from cervical cancer?

Sister from lung cancer.

And I have learned that the black sheep of the family, another sister, is riddled with it and is due to die shortly?

Carol is frightened to hell that she will get it next?

I have asked for family and friends to make a donation to local cancer charities rather than waste money on flowers!

Am I right or wrong?

This weeks phone bill will be enormous! I dont care! I loved my sister inlaw

COULD IT BE POSSIBLE for Armortek to make a small donation of members purchases to charity?

Have you wife get frequent check ups. It has touched everyone. I had a friend die at 42yrs old a few years ago with a rare form of "c". Fabrice, that is a great idea. I would contribute to a collective charity.

wich has as a theme Charity to cure Cancer...
