does anyone know the correct paint colour in humbrol/tamiya or similar for the halftrack.

The best match i can get and i have done my Sherman in is Tamiya XF62 olive drab.

Hi Clive and Lee,

You might add a slight touch of dark yellow (ocher) to get an even better result.

Thanks Lee and Ad for the suggestions,, I'll try some experiments mixing the tamiya paints,
