Side mounted spotlight from a halftrack

Hi, can any body help in identifying a German spot light that was brought in to an arms fair today, by an elderly gentelman who told me it came off a German halftrack, and as I have not made the spotlight on my model yet, I would welcome any information on this item.

Hi Jeffrey
It looks like like a half track spot light to me .I have seen one other style also, It had a differnt grab handle on the back. But about the same thing.

many thanks Tom, do you think the hole in the grag handle was for attaching a rear view mirror?
