Noel and Rob came around to my workshop today , to have their first look that my King tiger ..They were very impressed at the better quality of the kit and parts and the size of the beast . Noel has allready started plaining the paint job . Plus we talked about the texture of the hull plates and other detailed parts... Dale

That's a mighty fine workshop Dale

- I can barely get into my little box room at present for all the parts strewn around
I really need to get these Sherman parts safely boxed up so that I can just get out the parts on which I want to work.
Adrian.

No time to waste Andy’s tiger is holding a bridge on the Russian front we cannot afford to lose that bridge (tiger 1 page).
You will have to redouble your efforts to get it up there quick.
Hull is looking great.

Hi Dale,
What is it that laid on the KT's floor, above all of torsion bars? I remember you have the same stuff on your Tiger 1 before. Is it some kind of dash-mat? Will it be there permanently?
Thanks!

All ozzy builders need to step up.

Looking good Dale! Have you decided on the main surfaces finish yet? I am just starting to think about this and know of the meticulous "Kent" approach, of replica Zimmerit and also use of Mr Surfacer 500 (?) to create a to-scale rough texture and I am sure there will be others too.
I am not a military vehicle or tank history buff (yet????) but think my KT will be of fairly immediate post D Day western front vintage. Any thoughts??
